MHAA GENERAL PHILOSOPHY

The objective of the MHAA shall be to provide the young people of Minot and Hebron with the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty,  courage, and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier young people, and grow to be decent, trustworthy and healthy adults.

To reach this goal, the MHAA will provide the leadership necessary and a program of supervised ball games under the rules and policies of the association and league.

Association directors, officers, coaches, parents and athletes will bear in mind that stressing exceptional athletic skills or winning of games is secondary. The prime importance is to have children try their best, have fun, feel successful and develop commitment, a positive attitude, skills, sportsmanship and team spirit.
